We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated cleaner on a part-time permanent contract. This role will involve taking responsibility for ensuring that the academy is kept clean, tidy and sanitised to maintain an excellent school environment for staff and pupils. The successful candidate will ensure that their work is carried out to the highest possible standard, monitoring and reporting on the condition of each area daily.
The successful candidate will:
· Have experience of cleaning (preferably in a school)
· Be hard working and adaptable to change
· Have good interpersonal skills
· Have an enthusiasm for and an active interest in children’s welfare
· Be able to use their initiative
· Flexible attitude to work and willingness to support colleagues

Hours: 11.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday (4.45 pm to 7.00 pm)
Salary: Ark Support Scale (Outside London) 1, Point 1 £20,508 pro rata, Actual Salary £6,411
