Ark Byron Primary Academy opened as a new primary school for 4-11 year olds in September 2015.It currently provides for children from reception up to year 4, and will continue to grow up to year 6. It has two forms of entry and is non-denominational and non-selective, welcoming boys and girls of all abilities from the local area. In February 2018 it relocated to a brand new facility in the beautiful and unique setting of Acton Park in west London. Ark Byron was judged as good in all areas by Ofsted in November 2018.
We are looking for an inspirational SENCo and inclusion lead to implement targeted support and challenge for individuals and groups of pupils.

Salary: Ark MPS (Inner London) £30,406.00 - £41, 381.00)/UPS (£46,272.00 - £50, 523.00) plus SEN Allowance (£2149 – £4242)

Contract: Fixed term (1 year) maternity cover contract

Qualification Criteria
· Qualified degree level and above
· Qualified to teach in the UK and undertaken specific SENCo training – or be willing to do so
· Right to work in the UK
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
· Experience of identifying, monitoring, evaluating and providing effective strategies for pupils with SEND, EAL and high attaining pupils
· Experience of raising attainment for pupils with SEND
· Experience of leading or working with effective intervention programmes to improve outcomes for pupils with particular learning needs
Behaviours

· Experience of having built successful working relationships with diverse groups of staff (ideally across a multi-sited, complex organisation)
· Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain the right balance of support and challenge to staff
