Salary: Ark Support Scale 12: Pay Points 37-44, £40,876 to £48,115
per annum dependent on skills and experience
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

The Opportunity
We are now seeking a strong Operations Manager who will take charge of the crucial elements that help a school to function at its best.
The Operations Manager will work closely with our Senior Leadership and Office Teams to contribute to strategic planning and decision making, while taking a strong stance on aspects such as premises management, health & safety and internal policy and procedures, to keep the academy running collaboratively.
The successful candidate will:
· Play an active role as part of the school Senior Leadership Team, advising the Principal and SLT colleagues on all matters relating to academy Operations -encompassing H&S, Maintenance and Facilities, ICT, Catering and Cleaning
· Successfully manage the office team consisting of key operational staff
· Line manage staff to ensure academy targets and expectations are achieved
· Be a strong team player with the ability to problem solve at short notice
· Have the drive, commitment and skills required to work successfully to work in an environment where young people learn and thrive
· Share the Ark Alexandra vision and ethos and be aligned with the six pillars underpinning it
