Salary: Ark MPS/UPS (Inner London) £37,667 - £59,242 + TLR3 payment of £1,437

Working hours: Full-time

Contract: Permanent

Start date: January 2024 (Flexible start date for the right candidate)

About the role: 

We are looking for an inspiring teacher and leader who is passionate about inclusive, joyful and high-quality music-making. We are interested in candidates who are enthusiastic and ambitious about developing and leading primary music across the primary school. Music is at the heart of our all-through school community. Music is an integral part of our Early Years Curriculum developing pupils’ love of singing and rhythm as they move through KS1 and KS2.

 

Our ideal candidate will have: 

·       Experience of raising attainment in a challenging classroom environment

·       Evidence of continually improving the teaching and learning of their subject though schemes of work and extra-curricular activities etc.

·       Experience of leading orchestras, ensembles, classes and small groups in instrumental learning
