Ark Atwood Primary Academy is a non-selective school serving children of all abilities. We are now looking to recruit a Graduate Co-teacher who is committed to providing learning support to pupils and small groups who need it the most. We need exceptional graduates who will be inspirational role models to our pupils and work with both teachers and the wider school community to establish a supportive and nurturing learning environment in which children make rapid academic progress.
This is a great opportunity for those wishing to pursue a career in primary teaching and could lead to the opportunity of training to be a teacher with the Ark Teacher Training programme www.arkteachertraining.org in 2020/21 – an outstanding teacher training programme.  
Our ideal candidate will:
·         have experience working with young people in a paid or voluntary capacity
·         have a strong academic background in English and Mathematics
·         have the desire and enthusiasm to help deliver outstanding teaching
·         be committed to Ark Atwood’s ethos of high expectations
·         have the resolve to make a real difference to the lives of pupils

Start date:      Flexible
Salary:             Ark Support staff Payscale, Band 4 (Spine point 16) £21,727 pro rata £19,085
Hours:             36 hours per week, term time only (40 weeks)
Contract:        Fixed Term Contract; Contract end date: 31st August 2020.
