Opportunity for an exceptional candidate to be a founding member of staff, shaping a brand new Ark secondary school in Barnet
Ark Pioneer Academy opened its doors to our brand new building in Barnet in September 2019 and welcomed in our first year 7. By the time they reach year 13, we’ll have over a thousand pupils. We will deliver a standard of education matching the very best schools in the country. Our vision is that every pupil leaves Ark Pioneer with real options, be it embarking on the university course of their choice or starting out in their chosen career.
As Site Officer, you will play an integral role in ensuring Ark Pioneer Academy is a safe, inviting and positive learning environment for students, staff and visitors by ensuring the highest quality of site maintenance and management.
There is potential for the successful candidate to develop into a Site Management role, recruiting and developing the future site team.
The ideal candidate will
· Have experience in building maintenance or other relevant experience
· Be organised and self-motivated, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work calmly under pressure
· Understand key building regulations and how to best apply them
· Share the Ark Pioneer vision and be aligned with the six pillars underpinning it

Salary: Point 18 on the Support ARK: Outer London scale - £27,228.00 pa
Contract: Full-time hours, permanent contract, worked over a split shift pattern
