Lunchtime Supervisor/Play Activity worker    

Start date: September 2022

Salary: £9,331- £9,576 per annum (Ark Support Staff Scale 2)

Hours: 17.5hrs hours per week (10.15am to 1.45pm Monday – Friday) - term time only

Location: West London - W10 5AT

The role:

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join ARK Brunel Primary Academy as a Lunchtime Supervisor/Play Activity Worker who will be responsible for leading children’s activities during breaktimes, lunchtimes and supervising in the dining hall. You will initiate positive play and ensuring that the health and safety and wellbeing of the children is maintained at all times.

Our ideal candidate:

• Has experience in a similar role within a school or the education sector (desirable)
• Is able to help implement the necessary routines and patterns to establish good behaviour management within the school
• Has the ability to deal with minor incidents, first aid, and the personal health and hygiene of students
• Has strong communication skills with adults and children
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the role
•  Has genuine passion for and a belief in the potential of every pupil
