Salary:   ARK Inner Grade 5 £23,427 - £27,021 (Full Time) Actual Salary pro rata (£20,062.65- £23,140.51)                           

Contract:     Fixed Term, 0.6- 3 days per week, Term time only

You will be a confident and enthusiastic team member supporting our warm and friendly science team to deliver exciting and engaging practical science lessons. If you have previous experience of working in a secondary school as a science technician, then look no further.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a school at the beginning of its rapid improvement Journey. You will be joining a dedicated and collegiate team of staff lead by a Principal who has a proven success record.

About the role:

The role will entail working with the Senior Science Technicians to make and prepare the resources for our practical work. This would be a general Science Technician role but will involve some preparation for A Level practicals. There is also the opportunity to support teachers in lessons with practical work, particularly for required practicals.

The Ideal Candidate will:

·        Have previous experience of working in Secondary education as a Science Technician

·        Be able to prepare for lessons in a timely and efficient manor

·        Able to communicate effectively with team members

·        Work effectively independently and as part of a team

·        Be committed to the Ethos of the school
