Opportunity for an exceptional candidate to be a founding member of staff, shaping a brand new Ark secondary school in Barnet
Ark Pioneer Academy recently opened its doors to our brand new building in Barnet and welcomed in our first year 7. By the time they reach year 13, we’ll have over a thousand pupils. We will deliver a standard of education matching the very best schools in the country. Our vision is that every pupil leaves Ark Pioneer with real options, be it embarking on the university course of their choice or starting out in their chosen career.
As Chef Manager, you will have ultimate responsibility for ensuring Ark Pioneer Academy’s quality of dining is outstanding. You will be responsible for dining operations, budgeting and finance, health and safety, as well as managing and developing a high functioning dining staff.
The ideal candidate will
· Have genuine passion and interest in food and in helping children learn to eat healthily
· Have excellent interpersonal skills, able to motivate and manage others effectively
· Have excellent time management and organisational skills; able to manage multiple priorities
· Share the Ark Pioneer vision and be aligned with the six pillars underpinning it
