The Academy opened in 2008 and moved into its award-winning building on Shakespeare Road in 2010. Evelyn Grace Academy was judged as ‘good’ by OFSTED in 2017 and behaviour was said to be ‘exceptionally strong’.

In September 2017, I took over as Principal, having previously co-founded an ‘outstanding’ ARK school in North London: Ark Academy. I am working with staff at Evelyn Grace to secure its position as the school of choice in the local community. Together we will ensure that students secure the highest possible standards so they can go on and compete for the very best positions in their chosen career.

Job Description: P.E Teacher

The Role

·To provide outstanding teaching and learning of PE to secure high attainment of their students
·To collaborate effectively with other members of the department to continue to raise standards  

Key responsibilities

·Provide a disciplined and exciting learning environment that helps students to develop their skills in sports and athletics

·Consistently plan, resource and deliver lessons that allow stimulating and enjoyable learning to take place
·Ensure that all students are given quality feedback in order to make rapid and sustained progress
·Contribute to the programme of enrichment and inter-school and house competition
·Help to maintain excellent standards of behaviour for learning across the Academy
