Salary: Ark Support Staff Band 6 Outside London (£19,446 - £24,105)

The Role

We are now looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Student Support Leader. You will work as part of a team to develop strategies to engage with families and the local community across the academy, in particular with hard to reach groups. You will have experience of establishing effective, appropriate relationships with a variety of young people at the relevant age.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for monitoring the attendance and behaviour of pupils within a given year group, to support them to full access learning at the school. This is a great opportunity to be part of a true community school and to support pupils in reaching their potential. You will also manage the learning support unit to ensure pupils can access work at all times.

The Individual

You are a helpful, positive and calm individual with a caring nature who will be working with pupils within a given year group. Excellent listening and interpersonal skills along with a genuine passion and belief in the potential of every student makes you the perfect candidate for this role. You are someone who understands the difference a great education can make to pupils lives as you are a great role model not only for them but other members of staff too.
