HR / People Business Partner (London Primaries) – Part-time

 We have an excellent opportunity for a People Business Partner to join our team.  You will have full responsibility for the delivery of a strategic and operational People service for the Regional Directors of our London Primary schools. You will be part of a highly credible Business Partner team who together deliver the People agenda across out network in Birmingham, Hastings, Portsmouth and London; supported by centralised People Advisors who offer day to day HR guidance to our schools.  Continuous professional development is taken very seriously and opportunities to develop and grow as a robust HR professional (in a supportive environment) are readily available.  

 To be successful for this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Effective senior stakeholder management in a senior HR professional role
  • Effective delivery of change management initiatives (e.g. restructure)
  • Experience with effectively managing Trade Union relationships
  • Strong ER experience including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence management using a commercial approach with flexible/outcome focused solution
  •  A robust awareness of keeping children safe in education, noticing safeguarding and welfare concerns and understands how and when to take appropriate action 
  • Able to manage conflicting priorities and achieve stretching objectives through resilience, resourcefulness and a solution-oriented approach
  • Your behaviours include; professional courage and influence, commercial drive, situational decision-making, insights focus and ethical practice.

Location: various sites within London

Hours: 30 hours worked over 4 or 5 days (to be discussed at interview)

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 FTE (£32,000 - £36,000 pro rata) dependent on qualifications and experience

Contract: Permanent
