Ark Academy is an all-through school in state-of-the-art school in Wembley, set against the backdrop of the iconic Wembley Stadium, with excellent transport links.

We are now seeking to appoint a PE Teacher who is committed to driving standards and ensuring every child is challenged to achieve their maximum potential.  We want a teacher who has passion, enthusiasm alongside the skills and desire to develop and nurture every child in their care.  You will be joining a school that has a very strong reputation for PE and sports.  With a wide variety of team games on offer as well as other activities such as trampolining, badminton and athletics.  We have very high levels of participation in sports and a strong extra-curricular provision.

We are looking for someone who will add to the strong team and contribute to the high standards of PE.  In this role you will be responsible for planning and delivering high quality lessons and achieving excellent results for their students, instilling in them a love for the subject and a desire to learn.

The successful candidate will be expected to have the potential to teach PE at KS3-KS5 and the ideal candidate will:

·         be an outstanding teacher of PE or have the potential to become outstanding

·         be experienced in raising or the desire to raise attainment in a challenging classroom environment

·         have proven experience working or the desire to work successfully with students of all abilities

·         be committed to Ark’s ethos of high expectations and no excuses and the belief that every child can
          succeed

·         have the resolve to make a real difference to the lives of pupils.
