Are you an excellent teacher who wants to make a difference?

Ark Tindal Primary Academy has a fantastic opportunity for a committed, enthusiastic teacher with high expectations and a passion for making a difference, to join our supportive team this term.

Our vision at Ark Tindal is to provide an exceptional education that inspires all children to flourish into confident, successful and well-rounded individuals. We operate a three-teacher model across our year groups and have a strong focus on character development and pastoral well-being, as well as the academic curriculum. We are a small primary school which enables us to know all the children and their families. We offer support to the community, and we hold regular events which enable parents and carers to share in the life of the school and in their children’s learning.

Ark Tindal is a nurturing, exciting and innovative place to learn and to teach. "Team Tindal" is a strong community, and our staff see themselves as one big family. We take staff wellbeing seriously; there are regular staff social activities and individual catch-ups with line managers – we do what we can to support our team. We are committed to the development of our staff and have an extensive professional development offering, which enables us to work to our highest potential.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our dedicated team, making a real impact on the outcomes of our pupils. This is a great opportunity for someone, preferably with prior experience of teaching, or for a strong candidate who is looking to begin their ECT year. We are looking for colleagues with passion and enthusiasm for developing well-rounded pupils, who will inspire our pupils to achieve their full potential.  In return we can offer:

• a friendly, collegiate working environment;

• an exceptional and innovative staff team;

• a school committed to the enjoyment, achievement and wellbeing of all;

• an engaged and supportive wider community;

• professional development opportunities to hone your skills.

You will also be part of Ark’s thriving hub of primary and secondary schools in Birmingham working with regional teams, which offer additional guidance and support in aspects of the role.

Staff say that this is an exciting place to work where they are lucky to be part of a supportive and welcoming team.  ‘I have never been so well equipped in my role – CPD is taken seriously, and I have access to a broad range of training.’

Visitors say that our children are polite, hard-working, inquisitive and charming.  The exemplary behaviour of pupils is often remarked upon.

Children tell us that they feel safe and happy and look forward to coming to school each day.  Parents are grateful for the opportunities to get involved that help them to support their children.
