Location: Ark Alexandra Academy, William Parker Campus, Hastings, East Sussex

Salary: Ark Support Scale 4, point 3: £9.62 pro rata

Hours: Casual contract; hours will be variable dependent on need

This is an exciting opportunity to join the academy following the journey of Ark Helenswood and Ark William Parker, both previously single sex schools which have come together as one co-educational school with a mixed sixth form provision in Hastings.

We are looking to add to our current bank of dedicated Invigilators ensuring that all JCQ regulatory requirements for the conduct of examinations are strictly adhered to. Employment will be on a casual basis to supervise students taking GCSE exams, A Level exams, mock GCSEs and general end of year exams as necessary throughout the school year, although the main exam period will be in May and June.

As the ideal candidate you will:

·         Have excellent communication skills

·         Have a resilient character and a strong personal drive

·         Have an enhanced attention to detail

·         Be able to act on your own initiative and work within a team

·         Ideally you will have experience working in a school environment, but this is not essential
