Contract: Permanent

Working pattern: Term time only

 Salary: Ark Support Staff (Inner London) Scale 5, point 5 £23,836.97 per annum pro rata

Actual salary: £20,413 for 36 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time only)

Ark Putney Academy opened in September 2012 as part of the Ark network in the London Borough of Wandsworth. We’re a mixed school with 950 students, ranging from year 7 through to a successful sixth form. In our 2017 OFSTED inspection we were rated ‘Good’ in every category.

 

Our professional development offering is tailor based on the needs of the individual and department to ensure everyone achieves their full potential.  We also take the wellbeing of our staff seriously, so staff receive regular rewards and recognition for effort. 

 

We’re now looking looking to appoint a Student Interventions and Pastoral Assistant to join the academy and support the needs of our students.  You will be an inspirational role model helping to establish a supportive and nurturing learning environment in which students make rapid academic progress. You will work with students both in the classroom and individually, mentoring and delivering early intervention courses such as self-esteem and anger management.
