Become part of the aspirational Ark Alexandra family and work alongside our dedicated team to spark a passion for learning in our young people which will last a lifetime and raise the expectations of a community. We believe that all our students can achieve excellence, and that they all deserve the very best education in order to secure their place at university or a career of their choice.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the academy following the journey of Ark Helenswood and Ark William Parker, both previously single sex schools which have come together as one co-educational school with a mixed sixth form provision in Hastings.

We are looking for a School Staff Instructor (SSI) to support the development of a new Combined Cadet Force (CCF). We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, experienced, inspirational and self-motivated individual. The School Staff Instructor will be accountable to the Contingent Commander and is crucial to the CCF’s success. This post will be for 2 days a week. However, over time there might be a possibility of extended days.

As the ideal candidate you will:

·         Be committed to Ark’s ethos of high expectations and no excuses.

We take the well-being of our staff seriously, as we recognise that education can be a challenging profession. We offer health benefits such as a subsidised gym membership and Employee Assistance Programme or if you prefer retail therapy, staff discounts via the Ark Rewards scheme.
