Opportunity for an exceptional candidate to be a Premises Assistant, working with the team developing a new Ark secondary school in Barnet

Ark Pioneer Academy opened its doors to our brand new building in Barnet in September 2019 and welcomed in our first year 7. This year we have just two year groups and by the time our eldest reach year 13, we’ll have over a thousand pupils. We will deliver a standard of education matching the very best schools in the country. Our vision is that every pupil leaves Ark Pioneer with real options, be it embarking on the university course of their choice or starting out in their chosen career.

As Premises Assistant, you will play an important role in ensuring Ark Pioneer Academy is a safe, inviting and positive learning environment for pupils, staff and visitors, working closely with the Premises Manager and wider support team.

The ideal candidate will

·         Have experience of building maintenance or other relevant experience

·         Have an understanding of / ability to apply relevant regulations in health and safety

·         Be organised and work calmly under pressure

·         Share the Ark Pioneer vision and be aligned with the six pillars underpinning it (see attached)

Salary: Point 3 on the Ark Support staff scale for Outer London - £20,835.00 pa

Contract: Part-time hours (Five half days per week). This will be a term time only, permanent contract
