Outstanding management of data can make a significant difference in schools and to the lives of young people. We are now looking to recruit a Data Officer/Manager to further develop and maintain the school’s management information system (MIS) and ensure efficient use of all the MIS features. You will ensure information is both accurate and confidential. The successful candidate will be responsible for the collection, organisation, input, analysis, presentation and distribution of data relating to pupil attainment and progress. Bespoke training will also be provided on how to support a range of data tools, cutting edge visualisation tools, and other powerful analytics tools that have been developed in-house and within the Ark network of schools.

Therefore, the successful candidate will be offered the opportunity to enrol in a UK leading 18-month L4 Data Analyst apprenticeship programme from the British Computer Society.
Ideal candidate will have:
· Experience of working with Bromcom, or other cloud based school data system
· Experience of working in a similar role in a school environment
· Have a keen interest in data management and analysis
· Excellent IT skills including advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel
· A genuine passion and belief in the potential of every pupil
· Be adaptable, organised and able to build strong relationships
· Inquisitive, keen to learn and further develop own skills
