We’re looking for an exceptional teacher to lead Team English, as we embark on our fifth year as a new Ark secondary school. Excellent provision in English is critical to achieving our vision - every child leaving school with the option to go on to university or embark a career of their choice. 

 

What’s special about this role?

This role is ideal for leaders passionate about the power of language, literature and love of reading to support pupils’ success in school and in life beyond. The Head of English will oversee a large, committed team who have secured strong progress in reading ages and embedded a real love of literature in our first four year groups. They will recruit to expand their team and develop our year 12 and 13 English provision as we open our Sixth Form doors in September 2024.
