This is an exciting opportunity to join our friendly, supportive and hard-working Science department following the journey of Ark Helenswood and Ark William Parker, both previously single sex schools which have come together as one co-educational, Church of England school with a mixed sixth form provision in Hastings. Our Science department offers a combined science program to all students and triple science to the most able. This continues into our sixth form where we teach A-levels in Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Psychology. We welcome applications from enthusiastic teachers from any Science discipline and will aim to work to the strengths of the successful candidate.

Support and professional development are a priority at Ark Alexandra Academy.  We invest in our teachers by providing regular coaching, career planning and weekly training sessions.  We have an “open door” lesson policy at Ark Alexandra which ensures you receive extensive support and we promote peer-to-peer sharing of practice, all designed to help you be the best teacher you can be.
