Curriculum and Teacher Training Lead (Vocational and Technical Programmes)


Location:
Holborn, central London moving to White City, West London in January 2020*

Salary Details: £35,000- £42,000 per annum + plus career average pension scheme + other benefits

Hours Per Week: 37.5 hours per week

Vacancy Type: Permanent

About the role:

The Curriculum and Teacher Training Lead is responsible for supporting Ark school leaders and teachers to deliver BTEC Level 3 IT, Business and Applied Science qualifications. Through training, resources and one to one coaching, you will develop a strong vocational network across our schools who feel confident in delivering exceptional outcomes for young people. The ideal candidate will be an experienced vocational teacher who is keen to bring their passion to a rapidly expanding area of Ark’s curriculum offer.

 

About you:

The ideal candidate will be an experienced vocational teacher who is passionate about the ability of vocational qualifications to transform the life chances of young people. You will enjoy training, coaching and supporting other teachers and leaders to improve their practice and will either have experience of working across schools or be interested in learning how a network of schools works together to drive progress and improvement.

The new location in Notting Dale is a short walk from Shepherds Bush (Central Line and Overground) and Latimer Road and Wood Lane (Hammersmith and City and Circle Line).
